Silent Lune is an alternative rock solo project founded by Roger Chavez, a binational (United States and Mexico) musician and composer. His music combines elements of grunge, post-punk and indie rock, with lyrics that explore themes such as loneliness, love, rebellion and hope. Silent Lune has released 3 EPs: Silent Lune EP (2008), Melatona (2010), Soft Decay (2014) under the record label “Class Music/ Dragora Records”, 3 singles: Burning Fuel, Young Turks and Letters (to you). His most successful song to date is Last Call, which has more than 210 thousand streams on Spotify. Silent Lune has played several festivals and venues in Mexico and the United States, receiving praise from critics and audiences for his original sound and live energy. He has been sponsored by renowned brands such as: Dr Marten's, Converse and Roland. Currently, Silent Lune released 7 singles that collectively achieved more than 125,000 views on YouTube and 91,000 streams on Spotify from his upcoming first LP “The Scene” which is expected to be released in the fall of 2024, it will be accompanied by a national tour in the most important cities of Mexico.
